Connect multiple Shopify stores and add users in JSON-LD for SEO

By Ilana Davis

Stores can access both the Linked Accounts and Account User features by selecting Manage in the top navigation and selecting My Account.

Linked Accounts

Shopify store owners using JSON-LD for SEO can link two or more stores using the Linked Accounts feature. This allows merchants with multiple stores to easily switch between accounts without the need to logout and re-login to each account.

Paired Accounts

Each account link connects a pair of accounts. When logged into one of those accounts, you'll be able to see and access other accounts it's been paired with, allowing you to switch between accounts more easily.

Switching Accounts

Once you've Linked Accounts between two or more stores, you can switch between accounts under the Manage -> My Account section. Alternatively, select your store name on the top-right navigation.

Accounts Security

A valid Shopify login is required in order to connect or switch between accounts. No data is shared between accounts and each store's data is kept isolated.

Linked Accounts Form a Hierarchy

You have complete control over who has access to what. We will never automatically link accounts for you.

To illustrate this, lets say you link your Global Store to your other stores (US, EU, Wholesale). When logged into the Global Store, you can see all three of the other stores you've linked.

When logged into the US store, you only see the Global Store and none of the other region-specific stores because they are not linked.

User Access

Granting a specific user access who does not have access to your Shopify Apps via Shopify's Users and Permissions settings. This allows you to give access to a service provider or employee to JSON-LD for SEO without also granting access through Shopify.

Managing Access

Those who log in directly from the Shopify Admin will be able to manage users (add or remove) per account.

New users will receive an email where they will be asked to confirm their account and create a password. From there, the user will be able to access the JSON-LD for SEO app in full.
